The Federal Office of Communications (OFCOM) was commissioned by the Federal Communications Commission (ComCom) to auction 48 Wireless Local Loop (WLL) licenses (three national altogether and five regional licenses in each of the nine regions of Switzerland) with a 10-year period of validity. License number 1E has been sold on March 13th to Europe i Switzerland Ltd for the amount of CHF CHF 25'612'377.-.
