Swisscom NATEL® down

Service on the Swisscom Mobile network - interrupted as of lunchtime today - was resumed at 10.30 p.m. The Natel system was restarted in the course of the evening. Thanks to the efforts of an international team of specialists the problem - traced to a software error that led to part of the central computing system in Lausanne going down - has now been dealt with.Swisscom would like to apologise to its customers most sincerely for the inconvenience caused. Subscription customers (post paid) will not be charged for their calls or for SMS usage on Thursday and Friday, 26 and 27 July (national calls and SMS on the mobile network). Subscription customers will also be credited with CHF 5 against their July bill. Natel-easy customers (prepaid) will be credited with CHF 5.
