Starting at the Orbit exposition next week Orange will introduce GPRS on its mobile phone network. For using GPRS a subscription to "Orange Express" (5 CHF a month, Wap) or "Orange Express Plus" (20 CHF a month, Wap and Internet) is necessary. Until the end of the year wapping with "Orange Express" is free, afterwards 0.01 CHF (about 10 CHF per Megabyte) will be charged for other Wap-Sites than Orange's. With "Orange Express Plus" (includes 5 MB data transfer until the end of 2001) a Megabyte of data transfer costs 5 CHF. Again, surfing Orange's own website Orangeworld is free.
