sunrise powernet

The Electric Power Company of the Canton of Fribourg (FEW) and the telecommunications provider sunrise have joined forces to offer customers "sunrise powernet", Internet access via the electricity network, for the first time in Switzerland. Thanks to the infrastructure supplied by Ascom, FEW customers can profit from an economical, flexible and more efficient alternative to conventional Internet access via the telephone network. Monthly fees range from 69 to 309 CHF, depending on extras, speed and included transfer volume. Speed ranges from 384 kbit/s to 768 kbit/s.
