Swisscom IT Services setzt auf Parallels

Nachfolgend ein Auszug aus einer Medienmitteilung von Parallels, dem Hersteller von Virtualisierungslösungen im Hosting, Webhosting und Serverhousing Markt. Damit wird Swisscom IT Services künftig auch Lösungen wie VPS (Virtual Private Server) basierend auf Virtuozzo und Plesk Administration anbieten:

"Swisscom IT Services AG, one of the leading provider of telecommunication and IT services in Switzerland, is offering Virtual Private Servers (VPS) and dedicated virtual servers using Parallels Virtuozzo Containers, Parallels Plesk Control Panel and Parallels Business Automation software. Starting in February 2008, Swisscom IT Services AG, a subsidiary company of Swisscom AG, will offer hosted virtual and dedicated servers to complete their web hosting product portfolio.(...)"
